Tacho & Mapping

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Not been around much lately work keeps me well away from PC's :(

Just a couple of quick questions.

1. I've got an M3D and the tacho driver. I've wired the tacho driver in as instructed but don't seem to be able to get it to work. Is there a setting in the software of the M3D or am I doing something wrong?!?! (probably lol)

2. Does anyone know where I can get my car mapped locally to me to save a drive all the way over to Emerald in deepest darkest Norfolk, and please don't say Owens as I can't afford them or get a slot in there busy schedule haha.

Cheers

BiFf :)

From what friends have said, it's worth going to Dave Walker for the Emerald.

Lol I had a feeling someone was going to say that. Thats where I got the car mapped & setup originally it's just a bit of a trek from where I am.

Does anyone have any ideas about the tacho issue?

I've got the tacho module on mine. It's wired in as per the instructions and works without any setting changed on the ECU.

Yep, the coilpack BX clocks work straight away with coilpacks straight away (after 1 wire swap) and look better imo.

If you can wait till November time I'll have a set for sale as they are getting replaced.
