pp205 17 Posted August 15, 2006 As above just wondering what it is for? Had my headlight out to sort a broken clip before my mot on Thursday and noticed this sensor clipped in behind the headlight. One of the wires going to it is broken and looks like it has been for some time. Have done a search and ended up with 24 pages, so if anyone could just let me know what it is I would be grateful, cheers Simon

pp205 17 Posted August 15, 2006 Thanks Dave it must be the dim/dip resistor, could this be affecting my blowers at all? As when I turn my lights on my blowers cut out! Cheers Simon
Guest CB-Dave Posted August 16, 2006 I wouldn't have thought so. What's the charge like on your battery? If it's low then it might not be able to power everything (if the car isn't running mind) or there is a horrid wiring fault behind the dash, probably to do with an earth that has been taken from somewhere.
