Fitting Aircon To A Turbo Technics 205

Recommended Posts

inferno

I have some1 intrested in the aircon system, but they run a tt 205, and concerns about space for pump/condenser and pipe routing has arose.

im pretty sure that so long as the original rad is in the original position, the condenser will fit.

the long pipe under the gearbox from bulkhead to the pump shouldnt be a problem, but could be replaced with a custom pipe if need be.

is the 1.6 sump going to fit the 1.9 engine? if not, im guessing the mi16 aircon sump would work?

can anybody see any other issues?

well i would give it a miss, the intercooler will be in the way and due to the extra heat you will be putting in a engine bay, mostly on hot days you would be more prone to blow a head gasket,

Nothing will fit really, As Pauls' said the Intercooler and Oil cooler get in the way for a start,

Sump would need swaping too, for any Ally one

would be very intrested to see this... and was the car aircon equipped from factory?

also the extra heat as mentioned, along side your hotter weather and a turbo... how does your car cope?
