Diesel Manifolds On An Xu9

will the manifolds off of an xud fit on the xu9 engines? i'm thinking of a simple turbo conversion. any one tryed it? thanks for the help.

I very much doubt it, I dont know much about diesels but I'm pretty sure XUDs have both inlet and exhaust on the same side of the head which is bound to mean the packaging is totally different

Very true! i just did a diesel conversion on a 3 door 309 Gti for a european rally this august and thought about doing a simple turbo conversion but it just would'nt work. As Jackherer said the ports are on the rear of the engine, and you would have to find suitable injectors that would fit into the holes provided on the head. Also not sure if they would work anyway as the TD's are direct injection.
