Cam Bearing Bolts

Recommended Posts

As per title, anyone got a part number handy?

peugeot themselves could'nt find them on their parts cd, and i cant on the online cd either.

They thought you can only get them with new cam bearing caps which come with new heads! a search on here reveals otherwise however

Cheers James.

If youve got 1 bolt as a sample, have a look @ yell.com for a local nut and bolt supplier. You'll get them for pence there and then rather than paying peugeot a higher price and waiting a few days for delivery.

They're held down with studs and nuts.

Studs: 0250 20

Nuts: 0251 03

As usual they are a stupid size that almost nobdy else sells (M7x1mm). B)

In that case they are 6913 A2.

They are M6x1mm capheads, 35mm long. You should be able to buy those just about anywhwere.

Good thing about the genuine ones are they have the washer inbuildt, so it won't fall down into the head.

Not sure if it's easy to find bolts with inbuilt washers elsewhere?

Nope, bolts with captive washers are usually special to the individual application. Nothing to stop normal cap heads with separate washers being used though. There must be people on here with scrapped Mi16s with plenty of spare OE bolts surely. Those engines blow up often enough.
