Quick Few Question

Right, sort of forgotten where a few bits and pieces go whilst taking my 8v out, so ive got a few pics of the parts im not sure on!

This came off the subframe, but i cant quite work how if fits back on if at all(ive changed to a pas rack)

Next we have this small rubber grommet i cant remember where originally lived, all the holes in the bulkhead already have the apropriate grommit fittedlink

Lastly, im not sure how the brake and fuel lines are routed through the car, a pic would be good for this if anyone has one, i must remember to start taking them before i take things apart! Here's a pic of it at the moment - as you can see the fuel lines look a bit vulnerable as they are!

Cheers James!

the first piccie is of the heat shield to protect the steering rack from the exhaust

the clips attach to the rack itself - not sure how the PAS rack differs to the non PAS one though - have a fiddle and see if it'll go back on

the heatshield off a non-pas rack is different to a pas one, but I kind of persuaded my one on and its acceptable as it is.

Is the grommit not the one that goes on the skuttle pane just to the left of the Brake fluid resevoir or on the opposite side just to the right of the expansion bottle ? ;)

Thanks for all the replies :P Sonofsam - Those pics are a big help, cheers for that.

I suspected as much with the heat sheild, its just it seems a lot bigger than the pas one!

Id forgotten there actually was a hole in the scuttle panel by the expansion tank, i'll have a look in the morning to see if thats the one

Cheers James.
