roland rat 11 Posted August 7, 2006 ive got a 307 hdi set up to be fitted to my car and was going to do it this weekend but ive been offered a set of 14;; compomotives and im sure reading on the forum that the 307hdi setup doesnt fit under 14' alloys .does anybody know the biggest set up i can run using 14'' alloys? thanks ashley
Butler 0 Posted August 8, 2006 You can fit 266m brakes under 14" steelies. Not sure if the 307 hdi is 266 or 283mm. 283mm won't fit under any 14 wheels.
Ren 0 Posted August 8, 2006 307 hdi brakes only just fit up 15" speedlines with a couple of mm to spare so I wouldn't think you could fit them under any 14's
Rippthrough 98 Posted August 8, 2006 (edited) the 1.4 hdi is 266mm I think, which should just fit? Depends if yours are from a 1.4 though. -Phillip Edited August 8, 2006 by Rippthrough
sonofsam 5 Posted August 8, 2006 Mo's are well known for their brake clearance giving capabilities.
TVH 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Mo's are well known for their brake clearance giving capabilities. I have 15" ET15 MO's and 283mm discs, wilwood midilite 4-pots and the clearance between the rim and the caliper is about an inch. I'd say 14" MO's would fit easily over these brakes.
