sorr 0 Posted August 7, 2006 In Swindon I would recomend Bob Wiseman for anything mechanical, they are cheap and honest. For setting up the ignition timing or anything electrical I would use Advanced Cars. If you want to travel further the only 205 specialist that is semi-close is Storm Autos in Witney. 2052006 10 Posted August 7, 2006 Sorr - thanks for that - "cheap and honest" is exactly what I'm looking for! What I need is just recommendations at the moment - if all goes to plan I have a 1.6 j-plate arriving in a month or so, owned by a mate for the past 8 years since about 30k, but he hasn't been exactly liberal in spending money on it. I can do the basics, but need to know i can take it somewhere reliable for the more complex stuff! I'm sure i'll be asking a lot of Qs on here, it looks pretty knowledgeable - I've always found forums to be more useful than anyone else with my previous cars... cheers Pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
