laser green 1.9 0 1 Cars Posted August 5, 2006 I've just completed a beam swap, the beam has gone on fine thanks to this forum but I'm having trouble bleeding the brakes. I lost quite a bit of fluid from the brake lines while I did the change. I have bleed the rear brake lines and removed all the air. I haven't attempted to bleed the fronts because the nipples look siezed up solid, but I have been soaking them in plus gas. When I came home from work I tried to bleed the rears again, the back passenger side bled fine. When I tried to bleed the back driver rear I could hardly get anything out of it. I removed the compensator and gave it a blast of plus gas and it will now bleed. Does this mean that the compensator is dead, or is it possible that it was just full of gunk. jackherer 543 Posted August 5, 2006 if its flowing ok now then I reckon it probably was just blocked up like you said. I'm not sure how they are constructed but I think they can just stick basically, I've had several that restrict flow initially but I just raise the pressure of the tyre my easy-bleed is connected to until it overcomes it.
