Edd-XS 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Quite impressive what a couple of hours of elbow grease (and some de-greaser!) can do! Before.... ....After! Not the cleaneast bay ever but certainly alot neater then before and will look good with my freshly painted, cleaned and re-built Mi oooo im getting excited now!! Jonmurgie 2 Posted August 4, 2006 Good work... always nice to clean an engine bay up, especially when it's white!

Edd-XS 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Yeah not too sure what to do about the servo! Bit reluctant to move it cos I dunno what to do about all the brake fluid etc. dont want to have gammy brakes when I put it all back together Edd
M@tt 77 Posted August 4, 2006 with everything out the way (like you have) you can just undo the 2 bolts holding the master cylinder to the servo and carefully pull it out and lift it up out the way with all the pipes still attached makeing sure not to kink pipes.(did this when adjusting my push rod after fitting 406 m/c) easy to do! you can then undo all the nuts inside the car and remove the servo and give it a clean up. Get a flap wheel on a drill and get a mirror finish
Edp 67 3 Cars Posted August 6, 2006 The dreaded rust on the inner passenger wing!!
Anthony 1,003 Posted August 9, 2006 Just give the servo a lick of paint to smarten it up if you're feeling lazy - Hammerite is fine and what I've used in the past
Dream Weaver 2 Posted August 9, 2006 I just sanded my servo in situ, masked around it and sprayed it with some silver finish spray stuff - still looks good after 12 months.
