coombsfh 2 Posted August 1, 2006 I popped the bonnet to do the weekly levels check today and then ran the car. On blipping the throttle some fumes were escaping from a cracked breather pipe. is this serious and if so why? is it easy to replace? fred
Guest smokinslim Posted August 1, 2006 If it's just the breather from the rocker cover to the air box you'll find it will run smoother with the crack repaired and it'll help with emissions too, but not too much of a problem. If it's not that one then it'll be having a greater effect on running, leaking air into the mixture past the carb.
