Electronic And Manual Speed Sensor, Cant Remeber Which Car Its On.....

Recommended Posts

maxi

Im after the combined manual and electronic speed sensor for the BE box that has both outputs for the electical connector and speedo cable.....

I remember someone posting on here which pug they can be obtained from but I cant find the thread now. Im sure they are about £120 from pug so id like to get a 2nd hand one from the breakers.

Cheers

Maxi

I remember jackherer mentioning that they were also fitted to AX's but forgot to check when I was last at the scrapyard getting some rear seatbelt clips out of one.

I'll have a look on my next visit as I want one as well.

Graham.

How many wires does yours have ?

I spend weeks ( litterally ) trawling round breakers looking at every bloody pug and cit there..

I found loads of cars with them on, 306s and XMs mainly i think

But EVERY single one ( over 10 i found ) had three wires, but i needed one with two wires.

Gave up in the end and used the original one from the 605 ( 2 wires ) .. Then just cut the top off the sensor ( its blocked off on the 605 ) but on the 3 pin one has the extra section attached where the cable slots in, and just plastic welded ( well medlted with a soldering iron ) part of my 205 casing onto the top of the 605 sensor.. Its solid and works fine..

If you need a 3 wire one, then i can probably get you one this weekend

Regards

Ant
