Re-using Strut Top Mount Nuts

Is there any way that I can re-use the top mount nuts (that attach to the shock)? I would order some new ones but I've got an MOT to do and Peugeot are on holiday so it could be up to 6 weeks to get them

It's not generally recommended to re-use nylocs but i've done it with these and others in the past without problems. Last time i bought some from peugeot they cahrged me £2.40 for 4 nuts (not strut top) places elsewhere had trouble identifying the thread size for the nuts from the pug parts catalogue description.

Yes, they are usually nyloc though so best get some new ones. Just take one to a decent tool / hardware shop and they should be able to supply them off the shelf for cheaper than Peugeot.

Use a little thread locker on them to be sure, but they should be fine for a couple of uses.
