DaveK 0 Posted July 30, 2006 (edited) Done searching and ive come to the conclusion that my idle control valve must be playing up. When i adjust teh throttle screw it will idle perfectly at 1400 rpm but obviously thats far too high, this makes me think that the AFM is working ok????. When i unscrew it and allow the ICV to do its job the car struggles and drops to 500 and hunts around 500 to 1000 rpm. Guest 205_dave Posted August 8, 2006 Sounds like it could be ICV, have you tried unplugging it? If you do this the it should hold a steady but high idle, if it does I would try and get another idle valve to try out. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
