steve@cornwall 100 Posted July 29, 2006 As I seem to be having problems sourcing a top engine mount for the bx16v engine I was wondering if the later mount from the xantia can be used complete, as in block mount from the engine (which I think includes alternator mount) and top mount to the inner wing. Seeing as the engine can be used complete, the only problem I can see is wether the engine mounting will be different. Does anybody have experience with this ? Hilgie 16 2 Cars Posted August 1, 2006 To all: the XM turbo mount does not fit....the engine is misaligned then....on the XM turbo you put an Mi16 topmount to fit it to a 205 etc. Wrong install (modified XM turbo mount): Correct install (Mi16 top mount): You should really get an Mi topmount.
