Brembo /bremsport Calipers

Recommended Posts

Have just been offered a set of brembos with bremsport printed on the sid eof the caliper, i dont think these are 406 ones but an aftermarket kit for the 205, come with caliper brackets hoses etc.

Anyone had any experience with these ? fitting them on a 205 mi16 with 1600 rear beam and drums, will the master cylinder be up to the task or will they feel a bit spongey/ have excessively long pedal travel???

i think you will probably get a spongy pedal travel. my friend changed to AP3307 with the 306S16 master cylinder, but the slightly bigger master cylinder only helps a very little bit. the pedal still works more or less like a on/off switch.

actually, i also would like to see if there is any alternative on the size of master cylinder.

it may not be as bad as i said/tried. you just have to take more and more time with your right foot to find the little area between on and off of the brake pedal. another way is to install pedal box. you can use different size of master cylinders to suit your style.

TAS do have the right pedalbox for 205 but i think it will probably cost you over 200quid + master cylinders.
