Wurzel 16 Posted July 26, 2006 I've had a look at it and I reckon there is a special tool that removes these mounts. Being Pug owners and skint, how have other people removed these mounts using 'normal' tools?
Jonmurgie 2 Posted July 26, 2006 I use a chisel and hammer to tap it around until it's loose enough to remove by hand... rubbish design really!
Anthony 1,003 Posted July 26, 2006 I use a chisel and hammer to tap it around until it's loose enough to remove by hand... rubbish design really! Ditto, except I usually use a large flat blade screwdriver for the job - quite simple usually
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted July 27, 2006 There is a special tool for it & its shown in the old haynes manuals but the above methods work just as well, at least I hope so as Ive got one of the BakerBm group N engine mounts to fit on mine sometime.
