2.0 Xantia Turbo Wiring

Recommended Posts

trevor_stiles

i have a k reg peugeot 205 cti and im halfway through putting a 2.0 8v petrol turbo engine in to it.

Ant off the forum has been down to help me out with the wiring and neither me nor him can work it out :)

He says there should be a pin 3 on the brown connector but the xantia loom bron box has no pin 3 connection which totally baffled us.

I can get the engine to turn over but only on notch 2 of the ignition switch.

Also is it really possible to bypass the imobiliser completly. I had a guy down the other day buying a 2.0 turbo engine off me and he says he has spoken to a few people on here and it cant be done although a recent thread stated that it can, ant and jacobs53 were both saying it can be.

Can anyone help? I did print off the xantia wiring loom diagrams that i found in a search but that is the wrong ones.

You should be looking for pins on the injection double relay...Swith live on mine was the wire coming out the other side of the inertia switch..Pin 2 went to it.

So test to see if Pin2(injection double relay) goes to the inertia switch and hopefully the wire that is the other side of the switch should be SL+

My loom was probably different so make sure you have found the right one before wiring it up and turning the key.

I dont see it being that easy to override the Immob!

yes...just follow the schematic and use the brown large relay as a guide. Just assuming the pins on the multiplug are the same is plain wrong as Peugeot/Citroen uses virtually a different pinout on each car.
