Camshaft Question

Recommended Posts

I have a 406 turbo 8v and I have it on good authority that a 1.9 GTi cam would fit with no problems at all.

Can anyone confirm this?

It will fit straight in but obviously you'll have to check the valve clearances.

A few people on here have fitted the XU10 head onto their XU5/9 n/a engines with the cam from the original engine but I can't remember reading of anyone thats done things this way.

Graham.
