hengti 2 Posted July 17, 2006 (edited) some high st places can get pattern top/bottom hoses best off at pug i'd have thought though edit: you can buy (straight) hose of various diameters, but i wouldn't have thought there'd be any way you could route a hose that short without kinking it Edited July 17, 2006 by hengti
inferno 1 Posted July 17, 2006 (edited) ive got a hose on the garage floor just like that! cant think where it came from though... assuming it was an mi or gti as thats all ive broken recently, a lot of vauxhalls have curly pipes like tht though... i remember getting a vx hose before when i did my zx turbo is it the smaller bore one from the metal water pipes at the back or a larger rad hose size, ive got both Edited July 17, 2006 by inferno

Jonmurgie 2 Posted July 17, 2006 It's crazy as that is the one hose that is well know for blowing and yet places like Samco don't do that as part of their 205 kit!! Pug or scrap yard only I'd say...
Guest CB-Dave Posted July 17, 2006 I've done that hose before too - I think it was only about 7 quid from the dealers when I replaced it but that was a few years ago now... also irritatingly it doesn't come with the samco kit either you can probably have a silicone one made up if you send it to SFS but i'd not like to guess at the cost

pug309twin40s 1 Posted July 17, 2006 yep that hose is usually the 1 that splits!! due to crappy tight direction change there is on the hose. get a new 1 from pug. no point finding a 2nd hand 1 as its proberbly close to end of life.
DaveW 6 Posted July 17, 2006 ive found this number by chance 135104 cant seem to find it on stu's online pug parts....not even sure its the one
Simes 248 2 Cars Posted July 17, 2006 (edited) It costs less than a tenner from pug. I replaced mine a couple of years ago along with the Samco set. Edited July 17, 2006 by Simes
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted July 17, 2006 Easy way to get rid of this, The phase 2 just uses a Continious pipe from the stat housing to the heater and does away with the alloy thru block, The ECU temp sensor can be screwed into the housing (After drilling and tapping) and bob's your uncle
KRISKARRERA 2 1 Cars Posted July 18, 2006 I'm pretty sure Pug no longer sell this hose. Easy to rig something up with a bit of copper piping though.
