Guest ashnicholls Posted July 16, 2006 How many Nm should the clutch housing bolts be torqued up to. Because in my Haynes it says to torque them up to 45Nm, is this right? Because i have just snapped two of the bolts trying to get it up to this? Probably some KwickFit monkey changed the clutch and did over tightened it with an airgun? Cheers
Ryan 99 Posted July 16, 2006 Where in the haynes manual are you looking? Mine says 12Nm

Banjo 1 Posted July 16, 2006 I just do em up evenly tight, with a dab of thread lock, never had a problem. Ben
Guest ashnicholls Posted July 16, 2006 what torque though, was 45Nm too much, because it says you need 50Nm for the flywheel bolts, so i thought this was maybe abit much just for the housing??????????
