aldo56 0 Posted July 11, 2006 is it possible to convert a non-power steering 1600 (1988) to powersteering?? if so what do i need etc??
sonofsam 5 Posted July 11, 2006 Yes it is, you would need the whole set up from a power steering model. Rack, hoses, pump, plus alternator bracket to hold pump and lower part of the steering column too i suppose as they are different plus thicker bottom pulley for wider belt to run pump. I bet if you searched you would probably find out how to install aswell.
