After Cleaning Your Engine Where Could Water Cause A Problem?

Good afternoon,

 

I have recently cleaned my 1989 205 engine with a water jet ! I have cleaned the delco and spark plugs so the beauty actually runs. However the radiator fans no longer work. Can someone tell me which connections to check inorder to get them going again - the PUG gets damn hot. Is there anything else I need to check after having hosed water all over the engine ?

Took her out for a spin last night and fans started working again. Possibly grounded to the frount right of the car below the headlights as I had indicator probs there which were sorted once I had cleand the ground connection.
