Gavin Waddell 18 Posted July 10, 2006 i got my engine from a bx16v and well it has the long rubber inlet hose, thus when all assembled the filter sticks out pass the wing. now i know that the mi16 one is shorter, but what do people with bx engines do? what has every one else done, cut the bx one, by aftermarket air filter with special hose or oany other solutions would be helpful. gavin ps bonnet comes from paint tomorrow and i dont want to lean it up in the garage accidents will happen.
