if money is not a main issue for the na route, will the engine from 206S16(EW10J4) or 307(EW12J4) be a better solution? had a chance to inspect them once, the crank, pistons and conrods are lighter than the Mi's.

 

i have also been thinking about mating the 206RC's (the 180bhp one, EW10J4RS?) head to the EW12J4's (2.2l) block. there are some kind of variable valve timing device (similar to toyota's vvti) on both cams on the 206RC's head and the inlet valve size is slightly bigger than the 206S16's (as long as i can remember it is a bit smaller than Mi's). and there are some options for the sump baffles/trap-doors on the shelf too.

that is insane! How does it drive? Do you have a roll cage in it? My Fiat Coupe has 280lb of torque and that just lays the power down - it must spin up in 4th?

The car is really something else for me to put it into words is impossible.

 

TBH considering the amount of torque and power it still handles like a 205.

 

I have raced it in a straight line against a mates Skyline R33 GTR (480bhp) and beat him all the way up to my top end. He does get off the line quicker but midrange it's all FRENCH!.

 

I still can't get the weird look on the 911 drivers face when i was playing with him on the motorway. HILARIOUS.
