Mi16 Bottom End Bearings Question

Recommended Posts

richystran

My bottom end bearings let go on the track on sunday, they didnt cause any harm to the crank shaft luckily.

I have a few codes here which i need to get the same ones.

Are they standard? There is NO STD written on the bearings, nor is there any oversize etc.

Heres the codes

34801

05/88 (I take this to be the date of manufacture?)

019042

Id anyone knows where i can get them tomorrow with next day delivery this would be appricated. Also is there any compitition ones available?

Cheers

Richy

Got t16 bearings for the bottom end. Big problem on con rod 3 though!

The big end has been heated too much and it has ovaled unfortunitly! So its a head off job!

Ill probably have to do a whole bottom end rebuild! Damb!!! This engine is costing me a fortune, anyone know any good supplyiers of parts etc?

Cheers

You can try our main forum sponser QEP or any local enginering shop should do the trick, I tend to get the cranks ground, Bearings supplied and it's always a good price as your buying the lot from them
