What New Rear Pads

Recommended Posts

Guest Johnthefish

Hello ther I've just finished putting a new m/c in my 205 and have decided to replace the rear pads, I was gonna use Mintex but have seen some OMP R&S (road and sport) for sale.

Has anyone used these b4??

If so what are they like??

Heres some tech stuff.................

COMPOSITION: Thermosetting fibers and resins

FRICTION CO-EFFICIENT: 0.40

FRICTION STABILITY: Stable across a wide temperature range from 100-600°C.

ANTI-FADING CHARACTERISTICS: Excellent and combined with a low wear rate

Just make sure you have more stopping power up front than rear. I have got greenstuff pads rear as they were dirt cheap and standard up front. When they are warm the rears lock easily.

Just put standard parts in.

green stuff are crap though!

I've got mintex 1144 compound up the front with tarox disks so I don't think it'll be too much of a problem

I'll put it on the the brake machine at my m8's garage at the week-end and find out exactly how much each wheel is braking
