smighall 1 Posted July 3, 2006 Hi guys, I've just bought a gti6 engine for a conversion into my 205. I have the loom and ecu, but no transponder/key chip. So i need to get my ecu unlocked. Does anybody have any good links, or know of good companies that can do this for me. Also what proce am i looking at for it? I know of http://www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk/ and http://www.ecuexchange.biz but are there others, and are these 2 any good. I haven't phoned them yet for pricing. inferno 1 Posted July 4, 2006 chris at chipwizards i was advised to goto, 07797 004476 . he quoted 50quid for my turbo ecu. i dont know if the key transponder ones are as easy to unlock though and never used this guy in the end anyway... worth a try though.
