Was gonna drain my coolant last night as I'm removing my cylinder head. Got underneath with my 14mm socket to undo the drain plug only to find there isn't one

Expected to find it at the bottom on the passenger side just like my previous 205 but no sign of it. Had a look all around and all I could find was a plastic plug thing sticking out just above the lower elbow on the drivers side. It's an odd looking thing and I couldn;t budge it.

Is this just typical Peugeot parts craziness or more likely a non OE radiator.

I need to pull it out to replace it anyway so no matter. Will just have the joy of being showered with coolant while I struggle to get the hoses off :D

IIRC pattern parts are often missing the radiator drain

Undo the plastic 8mm plug on the plastic distribution block on the back of the engine block itself, that's almost the lowest poiunt on the system but it will drain coolant all over the intermediate jointn of the OS D/S and the subframe...
