I have been wearing these for 13-16k miles (front & back respectively) and I am very happy with how the car handles in the dry/wet. They seem to be quite soft but don't wear fast.

I had plenty of tread left until my first track day last week; the fronts are now worn quite heavily on the sides but i suspect that could be due to the fact that i had only 32psi at the front? - What pressures do people use on the track btw?

I haven't tried Goodyear Eagle F1s to be able to compare but the exaltos2 are x20 times better than yokohamas especially in the wet where yokohamas DONT handle at all!

I have F1's on the front and Exalto2's on the back and I find them to be very good, especially in the wet. They are about twice the price of F1's IIRC

Used to run scooby on F1's and it ate through them in about 5k miles, tried the exalto's and equal if not better on grip and damp conditions and much better on wear rate too

Ive got F1s on now - best tyre Ive used (so far). Do you think that the pilots are worth the premium over the F1s though?

F1's have been changed in composition over last few years, ie they arent the tyres they were, and I find these exalto's are like F1's used to be

A mate of mine had exaltos on his saxo vts and I was constantly amazed at how well it held the road! Pissed on my GTi time and time again (I only had crappy tyres tho)
