pugrallye 0 Posted June 26, 2006 Hi all, Would like opinions on fitting concentric top mounts as an upgrade from gp N rubbered top mounts, anyone have these fitted to their 205???
Jonmurgie 2 Posted June 26, 2006 Running a concentric top mount is essentially just running a solid top mount and to run those you have to go full coil over in the first place so it's a bit more than just fitting them other then the hard rubber GrpN items. And then if you DO go to the trouble of going coilovers and adapt them to take a concentric mount then you might just as well use eccentric top mounts and have some more camber/caster adjustments! pugrallye 0 Posted June 26, 2006 (edited) Oh right, bloke I was speaking to must have been fibbing then as he said no need to run coil overs on them, and could run standard diameter springs, unlike eccentric's Edited June 26, 2006 by pugrallye
Sam 4 Posted June 26, 2006 Oh right, bloke I was speaking to must have been fibbing then as he said no need to run coil overs on them, and could run standard diameter springs, unlike eccentric's I heard the same, I always assumed they were just a rose jointed version of the standard top mount design. Jonmurgie 2 Posted June 27, 2006 Oh, well I thought it was essentially the same as eccentric except without the many holes around the outside edge...
Sam 4 Posted June 27, 2006 I think we need someone to clarify this, I'd be interested in a pair if they were the same as I thought.
pugrallye 0 Posted June 27, 2006 Indeed, they look very appealing if they do indeed take standard diameter springs.
Jonmurgie 2 Posted June 27, 2006 I know I'd seen them somewhere... a quick google turned these up: Rally Nuts LUSH but only work with Coilovers (Bilstein it says but I'm sure others can be adapted) Not a ba price though...
Sam 4 Posted June 27, 2006 I just wonder if my bilstein short tops will fit them with a standard diameter spring.

Designed from HE30 billet aluminium complete with a choice of motorsport quality bearing and sleeve nuts and spacers. Our concentric (fixed position) is designed for standard diameter springs. The eccentric ( adjustable caster camber) for use with coilover adjustable spring platforms.
SimonJ 2 Posted June 27, 2006 Those WMMS ones are advertised as replicas of the PTS items iirc therefore they won't fit std springs. The spacer bit is because GpN and GpA inserts are different lengths.
