406 Coupe Brembo Brakes

Recommended Posts

Guest tommtb

Ive found some brembo brakes off a 406 coupe, think its the V6 one. Does anyone know if they will fit in my GTI wheels on my 309 or are they too big? If not what size wheels, and what price will i get if i just have to sell them on?

Cheers, Tom.

Doubt they'll go under standard alloys without spacers. They just about fit on my 306 with superleggeras. There is less than 1mm of clearence between the caliper and and spokes. :)

Mi16 wheels have quite a bit of clearance, don't think it's more than superleggera's though.

Peugeot Sport Speedlines will fit nicely over the Brembos.

Just use the search option....

My set of Brembos cost 300 Euros off ebay.

The speedlines were 250 Euro the set last week :)

As an alternative, you could use spacers with the original 1.9 wheels as

the offset is the problem, not the rim`s inner diameter.

Only prob. is that you would need something like a 20mm spacer.... :D

Discs are no use, as you need to use them with 285mm discs, a la 206GTI/307 HDI. Vaugely fancy them, but want to be able to put 14s on my car!
