bales 1 Posted June 24, 2006 Hi, I posted a bit ago enquiring about bike carbs on a 1.9 205, I have decided to use some R6 carbs as I have some of them free of charge and they are 37.5mm chokes which is more than large enough for what I want. My question is that I am guessing that they are constant vacuum carbs much like SU's. However on SU's they take a negative pressure off the inlet manifold to open the diaphragms when the throttle is opened. On the R6 carbs though they require a positive pressure to open the diaphragms, does anyone know where this is taken from or have experience of getting round this. It is just that I dont think this has been mentioned on the usual bike carb topics on here. Cheers for any help, thanks. Alex
