Oigen 9 2 Cars Posted June 20, 2006 (edited) At this moment I have a 2 pieces exhaust system and the mid silencer need to be replaced. Can I just cut the downpipe from my system and weld the mid silencer from the 3 pieces system? The pipe between mid silencer and backbox has the same shape on both systems? Rob_the_Sparky 9 Posted June 21, 2006 I don't see why not, as far as I know the only difference in the two systems is the way it joins together. For You Info: A group N rally centre pipe has no centre silencer so you could just weld in a straight piece of pipe in place of the broken silencer.
