Rally Door Pull Straps

I have the peugeotsport ones planned to go on this car, just like my last track car. But i'd like to try and source a different colour than black.

 

Anyone got any sources ?

That looks like the sort of nylon webbing you get on rucksacks and the like?

 

Why not make you own from rucksack webbing? A nut, bolt, a few washers and Bob's your uncles half brother twice removed.

Get yourself down to a CH Fabrics, or any sail-makers should have many different colours plus eyelets to suit, or jetweave if you can find it.

if you can find a POLO mk2 they have rubber straps the same as those in the back bolted onto the inside of the B pillow! i had them on my 205

And you can use silicone vacuum hose, plenty of colour choice there to be had ;)

whats wrong with old seatbelts? ;) you can get them in red (sure pug did red belts at some point?)

 

thats what iv used and they work fine :D

i bought some bright yellow straps from B&Q in the end. If anyone wants a set of new peugeotsport ones with all the fixings let me know

I used the strapping from an old rucksack. With a hot skewer to melt through (do not drill!!!) and then held them in place with a pop rivet and a washer. works a treat and you can get kids rucksacks for next to nothing from any old trashy shop.
