Freeflow Exhaust

Recommended Posts

Is there a type of exhaust I can fit which is free flowing like some of the Jap Turbo cars use, which doesn't make the car much or any louder? The Weber 45s make a great noise, but I have had a loud car before and it just annoyed me. I do think however it'll go alot better with a less restrictive exhaust.

Thanks

Ben

Build one yourself and polish the balls out of the ID !

Turbo cars have the turbo to acts as a silencer, you could always fit a small muffler though.

I am sorry I am not registered there

I am sure ill sort something out. I dont have the equipment to build me own, and to be honest the funds will be lacking until I get paid. I was just hoping somebody might know of a named part off the shelf that would sort me out.

Thanks

Ben

For the people that cannot be bothered to register

After a lengthy trial period, we are now pleased to offer stainless steel GpN and GpA spec exhuasts to fit the 205 GTI.

The options are as follows;

GpN 2" with single 8"x4" straight through back box = £200+VAT

GpA 2 1/2" with single 8"x4" straight through back box = £220+VAT

GpA 2 1/2" with 8"x4" straight through back box and 4" round centre box = £240+VAT

The exhausts have been proven on vehicles from high powered Mi16's up to 225bhp through to stock hatch rallycross cars and are proven to flow well in high power applications and meet track day / competition noise limits (GpA with single silencer excluded).

We are also offering free fitting to PSOOC members.

For more information call DES Developments on 01922 657900.

We are also in the development process for the 405Mi16 exhaust system.
