205 Gti Master/servo Change

Recommended Posts

Guest andyfitz

Hey guys,

The master cylinder and my servo on the 1.6 gti are a little crusty lol

We recently scrapped a 405 2.0 8v, it had a mint master/servo on it so we kept it, will this setup bolt onto my 205 without any work?

It's that or strip mine down and attack it with a wire brush and hammerite, and then find a better master.

Any help appriciated :D

I remember reading about something like this and you need to check the diameter of the rod (cast into body, should be something around 20) in the master cylinder because if it's too big your'll end up through the windscreen even thinking about using the brakes :D

Do a search it was covered not to long ago.

Cheers
