Breather Pipes

This would be a lot easier to explain with pictures but I'll have a go; On top of the mi16 inlet manifold there's a device of some sort with a breather pipe connected to the manifold and another to the rubber bellows type thing between the air flow meter and manifold. There's also a plug connector to this device, like the ones to the injectors. Problem is I'm using gti wiring which doesn't have the plug connector I mentioned so do I leave out the device and block both breather connections or bypass it or what?

I hope that all makes sense.

Thanks in advance,

Ken.

Yeah I'd say you're right, should there be a connection in the gti loom for that or am I not seeing it for some reason?

If you are using the 8v loom then there won't be a connection for it but if your car has been rewired for the Mi16 ecu there should be one.

Not sure what to do if you haven't got the plug but it'll still run with it unplugged (I think).

If your using the 8v loom , your best to fit the S.A.D off your GTi, instead of the idle control valve,
