Pug_sport 0 Posted June 14, 2006 Just got a 106 1.1 zest on a W for £100 (still got 205) but it is almost full to the top of the head with emulsified oil, if you take the spark plugs out and roll the car in gear (as the starter wont turn) it throws out lots of yellow crap from the spark plug holes. I was thinking either head gasket or liners but i don't know if it has liners. Any idea's as I have lots of them and im trying to narrow it down? P.s girlfriend wont let me set it on fire or hit it with a big hammer as these are two of my idea's.
ALEX 98 1 Cars Posted June 14, 2006 I'd say it's the head gasket thats gone. But a bit premeture for a W reg though, how many miles it done? When you remove the head get it checked to see if it needs skimming. The 106 TU engine im in the process of fixing has wet liners. Just dont turn the crank with the head off, this will disturb the seals. £100 for a W. reg, not a bad deal if its only head gasket thats gone.
