Hi all,

Have been on here for a while but don't post much as my car (see below) has been off the road for a couple of years.

IMAG0002.jpg

Before I took it off the road I was having problems starting it so wired a switch directly to the starter from the battery as I knew it was coming of the road, which worked fine.

Over the weekend I thought Id have a look at trying to get it running as it needs moving as were having a new garage. So with the battery charged, the original starter wire connected I thought I'd try and get it started as well as trying to solve the original problem.

As I tried to start it there was a bit of clicking, then all the lights went of and stayed off, I checked the fuses in the glove box but they all looked fine, I'm crap with electrics so anyone got any ideas?

I've got a feeling it will be the brown multiplug but thought I'd check here first as I'm waiting for my mate to find my multimeter so I can test a few things.

Cheers :D

Well I tightened up to battery connections and it started, but had to use a wire directly to the batery, but can sort that out later.

I'm just impressed how easy it started after been sat in the garage for nearly 2 and half years.

Now can get it moved, then get the new garage sorted and spend some time on here.

Cheers

Mitch
