whizzer71 0 Posted August 12, 2006 Hi all, posted this Question some time ago didnt get any replies,Just wondered if anthing had moved on at all and If there were any people out there that could do this for me,mainly want to iron out the flat spot on light throttle as the car pulls away and optimise the fuelling etc to suit my engine as is running with no cat and 2.25" exhaust will also be fitting some cat cams soon too so hope to get some good gains. Cheers Tristan.

Dj_mini 7 Posted August 12, 2006 Get wayne at chip wizards to do it for you most of the saxo / 106 boys use him with good results.
charlie_sav 0 Posted August 12, 2006 chipwizards are good for ecu remaps, the gti-6 ecu is pritty much the same as the 106 gti's and saxo, which also means that our plug and play adaptor looms for the kms ecu works also,

damien 22 1 Cars Posted August 13, 2006 didnt use the kms bodies just the management, only been on for 3 days so i cant comment on much at the moment. at the moment the car runs/drives and feels hell of a lot better than standard, it runs like a bran new car theres no poor idle (like i had with the old remapped ecu) the power delivery is so smooth, it dont kick you back like it used to it just pulls and pulls all the way to the limiter. 99% of the kms look was labled which what each wire was and where it went (but i still wired the fuel pump up worng), had to do alot of chopping onto the old loom. some pics of the finished kit http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/6030/1003911je7.jpg http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/4622/1003910gu9.jpg http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/8898/1003909or7.jpg http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/4648/1003908vd0.jpg http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/7558/1003907uz7.jpg
petert 587 Posted August 13, 2006 Nice setup (except for the hot air intake) but your engine bay looks like you drive it on the beach! Is there really that much salt on the roads?
