fast lane 0 Posted June 9, 2006 Hi there, Can anyone help please?? I have a late 1.9 205, the petrol tank is vented by a breather system which returns feul vapour back to the engine via pipes. In the rear wheel arch where the filler neck is situated, i can see a small plastic pot which i have been told is a de-gassing chamber. The nozzle protruding from the centre of the pot has been stressed and twisted from what i can see and i believe this is causing the system to be restricted. I think the feul tank is pressurising because sometimes when i take the petrol cap off i hear a surge of air. I have been to a Peugeot Dealership and have found the item on their computer but is discontinued from stock. Can anyone let me know where to get one or something similar as i am having problems finding one Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Pug_101 0 Posted June 9, 2006 There probably fitted to many peugeots, so get the dealer to look up the same part on a newer Car, like a 106, 306 etc.. If there fitted very likely to be the same or very similar. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
fast lane 0 Posted June 10, 2006 Thanks again Pug 101 for your reply, I am on a mission at the moment to find something simmilar on another car, there must be a car out there somewhere with a simmilar set up as you say.
