Electrical Issues On A 205 Rallye

Hi guys,

 

Wondered if anyone on here had any ideas with regards to an issue I have with my 205 Rallye. ( I have searched loads but can't find anything relating to it ).

 

When ever I turn on my lights I get 3 lights on the dash light up - side lights, main beams and full beams. This happens if I have turned the stick once for side lights or twice for main beam etc etc... BUT the lights don't come on!

 

There is no brake lights on the rear at all, also I noticed when going for a drive the petrol gauge is now not working.

 

Im not sure if its an earthing problem, a fuse or something more serious!?! I checked the fuses I could find and they all seem ok, same with earths.

 

Unfortunatly someone has played about with the electrics before (manual reverse light / manual fan added -Don't know why they done that!) but when ever they are also switched on they don't work and the 3 lights on my dash come on again Theyt did work last week though.

 

Any help would be great
