credowan 15 1 Cars Posted June 5, 2006 Hi Boys and girls, I think the turbo on my 306 turbo diesel might be on its way out seems that its loosing oil from the turbo it doesnt rattle or smoke though, just wondering on what options i have for changing it as in like for like would i be able to use for example a 406 turbo diesel-turbo and if they change over phases etc Ill have to strip it down and get to the bottom of it just a daily driver at the mo ill appreciate your advice thanks Gary Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Its easier if you can get the one to match IE KKK or garrett but its the samne amount of work to switch to any of them. Try ringing a few local places and ask about having yours reconned as S/H turbos could be just as bad or worse than the one you have now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
