steve@cornwall 100 Posted May 30, 2006 Believe the cti uses the xs set-up?- Would this be same beam with smaller torsion bars? Would the brakes be the same as they both run 14" alloys as standard? anyone help?
Guest smokinslim Posted May 30, 2006 You should have gti drums on the cti beam, the cj has the same drums as the xs. Without looking at a cti beam i couldn't comment on the tbs/arb. If you have a vernier caliper handy measure the diameter of the torsion bars. Unless they've been changed in the past they are probably the easiest way to tell which type of beam you have. Cheers for that! Vernier calipers a bit technical for my "clean it,hit it then swap it" approach-agricultural is an understatement but i'll put an adjustable spanner to it and compare to the gti! pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted May 30, 2006 CTi has thinner torsion bars & arb, just like the cj afaik. Graham.
