Batfink 201 Posted May 29, 2006 I have a sorrento 205 gentry with full leathers and no sunroof. Its unmolested and low milage. I also have a reconditioned 1.9 gti engine, uprated suspension and numerous other parts sitting in a shell I am going to scrap. see where this is going Is it just a case of swap the ecu and engine and job done or would I have to replace the loom too?? Because automatics are horrible unless you drive in a town all day, in which case a GTI isnt really what you need. I assume from the title of this thread your planning on swappign the gearbox over as well? Batfink 201 Posted May 30, 2006 it runs an airflow meter so its jetronic??? inferno - I have a straight 205 shell that you could have for a few quid. The paint is in need of a refresh though on the roof. sadely its not rolling though but you could bring round so suspension and it would take maybe an hour to fit everything Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
