c_r_thomson 0 Posted May 29, 2006 Changing the cambelt on my 1.9 pug Took the alternator belt and the cambelt cover off today and just waiting for this part to arrive link I need to take the bottom clutch cover off to gain acces to the flywheel Has anyone done this and used this part before? Any help/guidance would be much appreciated as i'm a mechanincal novice who is reluctant to pay the garage fees (typically Scottish i know ) Thanks, Craig Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ahl 4 Posted May 29, 2006 Most people use a big screwdriver and jam it in I think, but im sure that piece will be easy to use and work just fine. You don't need to lock the flywheel in order to do the cambelt though, there are locking holes in/behind the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
