At last I've decided to get the car on the rollers and get her sorted once and for all, the oil and filter were changed recently and I'm also going to do the following : plugs, leads, dizzycap, rotor arm, leads, fuel and air filters.

Just wondering if any of you think there's anything else that should be done as well ?

Also would like your views on wether to stick with OE ( ££££££ ) or source the parts from one of the motorfactors.

Many Thanks

:)

I would try gsf or euro car parts for the parts, as for the rolling road personally i think its a bit pointless all that can really be set is the dizzy timing if its a standard 1.9 8v.

The main reason I'm going to the rollers is because when I had the piper 270 cam fitted it was set up wrong, set on 104 deg instead of 108 deg.

So the whole lot needs setting up properly anyway.

Thanks for the help will give either gsf or ecp a go for the parts then

Sorry having a strange day forgot to say car has different cam and gas flowed head :lol:

:D
