Pipework For Intercoolers

2.0 turbo is finally in my 205 now,and have got a 2wd cossie ic above my rad that has been lowered, but the ic tube on the left hand side faces the opposite way from the throttle pot.has anyone got any pics of there set up cheers ian :)

You could always flip the IC round, so the straight facing pipe was on the left side, or get the pipe re-welded.

Ant has recently done this,so im sure he will put up some pics for you :)

cheers lads.inferno i checked that but theres no pics of a cossie ic mounted on top ov the rad

just flip it round as sonofsam said... or get it rewelded, i extended my last cossie ic to fit;)

 

alternatively do u wanna swap with a gt3 punto one?

You need to flip the IC.. So the exit that is at 45 degrees is facing your washer bottle. The block off the bottom hose exit... Its not needed.

 

That leaves the other IC pipe facing the throttle, but about 2" inchs to the right of it.. You then need 2 90 degree pipes to mate that - They must be VERY small, and its a tight fit. The IC to the turbo is easy. You need a 90 degree exaust bend ( about £10 ) and a 45 degree one ( £5 ).. Thats it. By using a 45 and a 90 you pipe will end up straight, and runs past the battery. Hope this makes sense. Ill try and get pics tonight
