Stiff Gears When Hot / Clutch Cable

Unlike most people with stiff gears, mine get worse as the car gets hot. Yesterday I was really having to shove it in, and i think it's getting worse. Seems to be mainly first and second gears. The biting point feels very low. I am going to replace the gearbox oil, but I also want to have a look at the clutch cable. Haynes section 1.10 states:

"Subtract the first measurement from the second to obtain the clutch pedal travel. If this is not with(in) the range given in the Specifications at the start of this Chapter, adjust the clutch as follows."

 

I can't find the range anywhere in the Specifications. Does anyone know what it is?
